Keep your PC and e-mail password different to all your other passwords. If hackers gain access to your e-mail accounts, they’re able to access your business data – and they could reset your other accounts!

Use three randomised words for your password. Don’t use words that can be easily guessed (i.e. your pets name), but do choose something you’ll remember! An example could be SunnyMorningDay

 Using a password manager (i.e. LastPass or 1Password) can help securely save and remember your account details

Use two-factor authentication – meaning you’ll be asked to enter a unique code that gets sent to your phone when logging on

And finally – keep your PC and software up-to-date! This is one of the easiest and most important things to do! Hackers look for flaws and holes in software – and keeping your systems up-to-date helps prevent cyber-attacks!
